Lake

The water level of the lake is on 194 m above sea level and a surface of 212 km² has as well as a length of 65 km.

The width distance lies between 2 km to 4.5 km. The deepest place in the lake is 274 m.

On the lake the whole year navigation insists, a car ferry consorts between Intra and Laveno.

In the near of Brissago are the two Isles "Isole di Brissago", who accommodate a botanical garden. In the north of Cannero Riviera are appropriate two small Isles, called Castelli di Cannero. Stresa pre-aged are the three Borromäi islands "Isola Bella", "Isola Madre" and "Isola dei Pescatori" (also well-known as Isola superiore).
